Beef, its whats for dinner

I don't know about your but I always love summer! We love to be with friends, drink lemonade (or beer) and  bbq up some delicious hamburgers and hotdogs.

Well, this summer there has not been much grilling. I guess I should have just gone to McDonalds and picked up a delicious  burger for me and my family. Its not the 'real deal' but it should do, right?!

Yeah, Right! I just found, thanks to MickyD's, and their recipe list that their food is anything but clean, healthy and even remotely appetizing; even if you don't know what GMOS or preservative are. It shares all the items on their menu, down to apples and gives every ingredient. Stop reading, take a minute and look this over. This is probably the recipe list at most restaurants/fast food chains, not just Ronald's house! We are so into having food last longer and longer that we go to nasty, unhealthy extremes to make "food", if you can even it call it that.

"Ill have a double cheeseburger hold the BHT bun, McRib with a side of yoga mat and a non-dairy, milkshake."

Another interesting fact thanks to Occupy Monsanto:

I did make a call to Verde Farms about their Kirkland Organic Beef from Costco. They state on their package there are no hormones or preservatives. I also called and they said their beef is 100% grass-fed, no grain is given to their cows, (sometimes it is used as a finisher after a cow has eaten grain for months).

Where to buy beef? Whole Foods, Local Farmers or you could stop eating meat all together. Since our food supply is becoming more and more contaminated with GMO's and big government, you may want to consider a small garden or more local shopping in all areas of your food.
